Bite Beauty, a brand exclusive to Sephora (seriously, they don’t even sell on their own website! See for yourself), introduced these babies two years ago. Back then, they were $12. Now, they’re $14. A bummer? Yes. Unexpected? No. Still sad, though. Regardless, their price is pretty phenomenal. For $14, you get a double-ended lipstick, each end featuring a different Bite Luminous Creme Lipstick shade. Sometimes the shades are ones for which they also carry full-size versions. Other times, they are brand-spankin’ NEW shades!
Pepper/Café
Pepper: This is one of my all-time-favorite lip colors. I haven’t put it on anyone and didn’t like it (wow, that wasn’t not a lot of double negatives!). It’s a mauve-tinged, brownish-beige. It’s more dark and intense than a nude, but if you want a nude lip with a bit of punch, this is a great option.
Café: A light, warm-neutral beige that’s a great nude color for fair and light skin tones.
Latte/Cortado
Latte: A warm, neutral beige that’s lighter than Cortado and doesn’t require a lot of muss and fuss.
Cortado: A slightly-more-dark, mauve-ish, cool, neutral beige. This is a great pic for anyone who wants to rock a quality nude lip with a little more depth.
Confection/Marmalade
Sadly, I do not have swatches for this duos. It’s gorgeous, but I knew I wouldn’t wear them as much. Decided to save the $14 and put it towards another item *cough* Give Me More Lip set *cough*.
Holly/Tannin
Holly: A bright, warm red that’s probably flatterin on everyone. Great for those upcoming holiday parties!
Tannin: A rich, deep, cool wine red. It’s saturated with pigment, so be sure to lock it in place by using a lipliner first. Any migration of this baby is prone to show. While it looks good on most skin tones, it’s particularly stunning on darker skin tones.
Scarlet/Mulberry
Scarlet: A deep, wine-tinted burgundy. Very rich and more intense for lighter skin tones, but it’s much more easy to pull off for darker skin tones. It’s edgy, but not over-the-top.
Mulberry: I had this color from a duo I bought last year. It’s one of my absolute FAVORITE colors for fall (or any time, really). It goes on so nicely. It’s rich, but not too opaque. It’s not too dark that you can’t tell it’s purple. It’s phenomenal all around.
So there you have it. One of my favorite products of ALL TIME, not just for the holidays. So mix and match, or MINGLE… I’ll see myself out.

Ya, it’s not ideal, but they’re still definitely a great price for what you’re getting!

I know! It’s not ideal. I never enjoy being “forced” to purchase from only one company, but I love their stuff!
